I was impressed with the hotel's cleanliness and nice furnishings in the room, but it felt a bit dark and lacked enough plug-ins for charging devices. Being on the 3rd floor, I enjoyed the small shared balcony that overlooked the bustling town square.

The staff were polite, courteous, and very apologetic. They were diligent in ensuring our comfort and were proactive in helping us, even handling stressful situations like taking care of our car. They also reassured me about crediting my credit card for an erroneous charge.

The location was really good for accessing the main square and all the action. Although right by the main plaza, it's worth noting that the streets are often closed, requiring a short walk to hail a cab.

I had a mixed experience at Del Portal. The hotel's great location at the main plaza is a standout feature, but the rooms were not ideal, with some lacking windows. The hotel's location is excellent, right in the main plaza with a fantastic rooftop deck overlooking the cathedral. However, the rooms were a bit distant from the main square and had a serious trip hazard issue. The service was friendly and tried to resolve any problems cheerfully.
